I wish to draw your attention to our Spring Edition of our European Newsletter - where you will see a variety of events, news as well as opportunities for professional development within our vibrant European region. Thanks to all our contributors especially to Marie Louise (European Regional Coordinator) and, to Laura Hako (Vice-President: Alpha Beta Nu) Finnish chapter for all the technical work with CANVAS.
I wish in particular to draw you attention to events and deadlines:
1)
Sigma Europe has launched back in March 2025, its first MSc Virtual Scholarly Event to take place on May 21 , 2025 at 13-16 (CET)! The theme of this event is “Research local, Inter(act) globally: Transforming healthcare step-by-step”. The success of our Ph-D Virtual Scholarly Event over the last 10 years and the inquires from members and non members whether we could provide a platform for nursing students at the master’s level will be one of the first in Europe with this type of process.
Could you spread the news for the “call for abstracts” amongmaster’s students? This is a free event, also for non members, with a certificate of presentation and a review process which deems to give constructive comments back to the master’s students. Plus, a chance for your students to network internationally and have the chance to present online in a safe and nurturing environment.

2) 8th Sigma European Regional Conference 2026
will be arranged in Kuopio, Finland on
24.-26.6.2026. Alpha Beta Nu Chapter will host
this event at the University of Eastern Finland.
Abstract submission will be open from June 1,
2025 until September 30, 2025.
